We have two friendly and gentle full-time dental hygienists on staff to provide you with regularly scheduled cleanings. Our hygienists are focused on good oral hygiene and the avoidance of gum disease. They will take the time necessary to look for any gum pockets or gum disease, while ensuring that you have a thorough dental cleaning. Both hygienists are fully trained in the diagnosis of all classifications of gum disease, and the treatments that may be required to resolve periodontal issues. They also have advanced training in the placements of any antibiotics that may be needed. Appointments can easily be scheduled, and cancellation lists are available so that you can be ensured that you will be seen promptly for your dental cleanings.

Yes, we all get them—cavities, that is. Dr. Vane will only provide you with the utmost care for you while treating a cavity. In addition to her expertise, she has the latest advanced laser technology that can be used to confirm whether or not you actually have decay or need a filling. Dr. Vane takes a conservative approach, and does not believe in overtreatment. Dr. Vane believes that no one  should get a filling if there’s really no need to get one.

All dental fillings are done in white resins, so that the restorations are not only as conservative as possible, but also blend in seamlessly with the natural tooth structure.

Crown and bridgework, also described as restorative dentistry, involves the restoration of natural teeth that have been damaged, decayed or lost. Crowns, implants and bridges can correct missing teeth, bite disfunction, and functional or structural problems. A crown can restore an individual damaged tooth back to its original form and function, while a bridge or an implant can replace one or more teeth. These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry rather than using a removable appliance or partial denture. Dr. Vane are well trained in choosing the materials that are best suited for your dental needs in particular, from implant crowns to all porcelain crowns.
